Surveyed Companies “Unanimous” in Support of Apprenticeship

Case Western Reserve and the U.S. Department of Commerce surveyed 13 U.S. companies across several industries
about their experience with registered apprenticeship; 100% of them “found value in the program and identified benefits that more than justified the costs and commitments they made to the apprentices.” One employer – Dartmouth Hitchcock in New Hampshire noted: “The program nearly paid for itself within the first year and had an internal rate of return of at least 40 percent. In addition, reducing the long-term use of overtime helped relieve staff burnout and turnover.” Read the report and contact us to learn about how TransPORTs can provide funding to offset your new or expanded program costs!
